Homeschooling & Life Inside the Mommyvan - an old dog learning new tricks

I am a full-time, homeschooling mother of three. I have a minivan. I am a Girl Scout Leader.
These are just a few of the places I never imagined finding myself on the far side of forty.
It is a wonderful, amazing, exhausting adventure every single day, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Some days, this blog seems the only adult conversation I have, even if I am just talking to myself. I hope you find here something you can use, a mistake to avoid making, or a laugh to brighten your day. Let me know if you do, or if there is a subject you’d like to see me write about in the future.

If you’re curious, here’s the short list of reasons we homeschool.

Hi Tracey, thank you for the wonderful article and kind words that you wrote about your visit to the Oldsmar Fire Rescue station. We are happy that you all enjoyed your visit and that you felt that the children and adults learned valuable lessons about fire safety. Also, thank you for donating the food for the Oldsmar Cares food pantry.
